When we're traveling, especially away from roads, you can follow our location at the SPOT Tracking Page. This updates every few minutes, and the device attempts to send location every 10 minutes. The tracking information lasts for a week. If nothing shows up, we haven't been rambling around recently.
SPOT tracks us with GPS technology and sends our location to the server over the satellite phone system. They record this on a Google map to create the tracking page. Complete information about SPOT is on their web site.
